Are there limits to the artistic freedom and freedom of speech? What is the future of so-called old media? What threatens media ethics and what is the essence of the controversy between the old and new media? Ulrika Knutson, Ola Larsmo and Gellert Tamas, writers and publicists from Sweden and their counterparts from Serbia, Vladimir Arsenijevic, Snjezana Milivojevic and Sasa Ciric will discuss the responsibility of artists, political correctness, on the future of old and challenges of new media.

Predrag Ejdus will close the evening with a poetic commentary of poetess Lina Ekdahl.

Ulrika Knutson, born in 1957, is a journalist, chronicler of culture and a writer. Once a visiting professor of journalism, she is also known as a commentator and host of the radio program. In 2009 Knutson became a president of the Publicists' club, whose main target is defending freedom of press and expression, and encouraging public discussion and exchange of opinion among publicists and other experts in mass media.

Ola Larsmo, born in 1957, is a writer, journalist in the field of culture, and an active participant in social debates who has a profound knowledge of Irish and Norwegian literature. His literary work often contains documentaries and historical pieces that reflects the writer's interest in the history and development of society. Ola Larsmo has been a president of Swedish PEN from 2009.

Gellert Tamas, born in 1963, is a journalist and author, who has specialized in social documentary drama stories and working with daily newspapers and television.

Lina Ekdahl, born in 1964, is a playwright and a poet, one of the funniest and most humorous poet in Sweden. She comments on the modern era in a very special way, seemingly simple, yet thoughtful, beautiful and sometimes bizarre. Lina Ekdahl writes chronicles and makes documentaries for radio. She also wrote lyrics for a number of musical shows and cabaret.

Vladimir Arsenijević, born in 1965, is an awarded and internationally acclaimed Serbien writer, translator, editor and publicist.

Snjezana Milivojevic is Professor of Public Opinion and Media Studies at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade. Her main academic interest is in political communication, media policy and regulation, cultural studies, media and diversity and media and public memory.

Sasa Ćirić, born in 1975, is a journalist and radio presenter on Radio Belgrade 2, literary critic, one of the editors of supplement Beton. He writes poetry and political commentary. He has published two books of criticism and essays, and along with other Beton editors published two books of essays.

Ljiljana Dufgran, born in 1947, the publicist, a board member of the Swedish Arts Council, former President of Swedish PEN.

Maja Vasić Nikolić, born in 1976, has been working in media since 2000, being the project manager in NUNS since 2006. She deals with questions of ethics in media and the role and responsibility of media during wartime and peace.
